MI OPINION

En 1977 Carole King estrena su album "Cosas Sencillas" en un nuevo sello discográfico.Los músicos de estudio ya no son los que la acompañaron en sus anteriores discos. Ahora el grupo de músicos que la acompaña es NAVARRO ,del cual forman parte Mark Hallman y Robert McEntee que la acompañarán también en algunos de sus discos y giras posteriores. Todos los temas están firmados por Carole King excepto tres temas co escritos con su entonces marido Rick Evers. Las letras de las canciones hablan del amor universal, de que todos somos uno y que "el nacimiento, la vida y la muerte sólo forman parte de un ciclo en el que estamos todos". Quizás cosas así no sonaban muy usuales en aquella época y por ello el álbum tuvo algunas críticas negativas. Mis temas preferidos:"To Know That I Love You", "In The Name Of Love" o "One". El single "Hard Rock Café" tuvo repercusión también en países como España.
